The data we process

We only process the data you send us yourself, for example through the contact form or by email:

• name and company name
• business email address and (optionally) phone number
• the content of your message, such as your situation and energy needs

What we use the data for

We use your data solely to contact you about your request: a consultation, an upfront model of your site or a demo. The legal basis is the performance of a (prospective) contract and our legitimate interest in responding to business inquiries. We do not use your data for unsolicited marketing and never sell it to third parties.

How long we keep your data

We keep your data no longer than necessary to handle your request and to follow up on a possible engagement. Correspondence that leads to a contract is retained in accordance with the statutory (tax) retention periods.

Who we share data with

This website is hosted by Vercel. When you visit the site, the hosting provider processes technical data (such as your IP address) required to deliver and secure the site. Beyond that, we only share your data with third parties where this is necessary to handle your request or where the law requires it.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to anonymously measure how the site is used so we can improve it. Analytics only sets cookies and collects data after you have given consent through the cookie notice; until then it stays off (Google Consent Mode v2). Your choice is stored; you can change or withdraw it at any time via the Cookie preferences link at the bottom of every page. Google may process data such as an IP address in the process — see Google's privacy policy. We do not share advertising or personalization data through Analytics.

Spam protection (reCAPTCHA)

Our contact form is protected by Google reCAPTCHA to prevent spam and abuse. In doing so, Google processes technical data, such as your IP address and your interaction with the page. This is necessary to secure the form and is based on our legitimate interest; it is separate from the analytics consent above. The use of reCAPTCHA is subject to Google's privacy policy and terms of use.

Your rights

You have the right to access your personal data and to have it corrected or deleted. You can also object to the processing, or request restriction or transfer of your data. Send your request to info@evogrid.energy — we respond as quickly as possible, and no later than the statutory period of one month. If you believe we are not handling your data properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

Security

We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against loss and unauthorized access, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and restricted access to correspondence.

Changes

We may amend this privacy statement, for example when the site gains new functionality. The current version is always available on this page, with the date of the most recent change at the top.
