Energy management for energy hubs
Shared grid.Shared growth.
On a congested grid, no business can expand alone. Evogrid unifies generation, storage, and consumption across all participants into a single ecosystem. By optimizing shared transport capacity, your entire business park can continue to grow.

The challenge
Your business park is ready to expand. The grid is at maximum capacity.
Stalled ambitions
Businesses want to electrify and expand, but new grid connections take years to arrive (15,000+ companies on the waiting list).

Fragmented capacity
Every business contracts grid capacity for its own individual peak. Collectively, this leaves valuable grid capacity on the park structurally unused.

Complex collaboration
Sharing and settling energy between parties used to stall on legal hurdles. With the group transport agreement (GTO, Dec 2025) there is now an official framework, but the practical and technical execution demands tight coordination.

The platform
A unified platform for the entire business park.
Every asset that consumes or generates power is managed through a single control layer—bridging company boundaries to optimize one shared grid connection.
Hardware-agnostic: Evogrid connects seamlessly to the assets each participant already owns via Modbus, OCPP, and open APIs. No rip-and-replace required.
What Evogrid does
How Evogrid powers the energy hub.
A single control layer across all participants, assets, and connections. Shared capacity is utilized to its absolute maximum, and every kWh is settled fairly.
Optimization within shared capacity limits
Batteries, charging points, solar arrays, and flexible processes across all participants are orchestrated to stay strictly within the contracted transport capacity. The hub always complies with the Group Transport Agreement (GTO).
Maximize cable pooling
Solar, wind, and demand peak at different times. Evogrid dynamically allocates unused connection capacity to another party's generation—combining up to four installations on a single cable.
Local supply meets local demand
One participant's energy surplus directly feeds another's consumption. Whatever is left over goes to shared storage or the open market. Less reliance on the congested grid, more power utilized on-site.
Flawless measurement and fair settlement
Every kWh is metered per participant and automatically settled using the allocation key agreed upon by the hub. Completely watertight for all companies and park management.
Proactive congestion management
The platform anticipates when the combined participants are about to exceed the shared capacity and adjusts demand dynamically. No overruns, no peak penalties.
Simulated upfront, deployed securely
We build a digital twin of the park to model every allocation key, battery, and connection upfront. The hub's exact business case is on the table before a single physical change is made.
Real-time insight
Complete transparency across the hub.
Trust is the foundation of shared energy. We provide complete clarity for both participants and park management.
Real-time capacity per participant
Track exactly who is using what portion of the shared capacity—and how much headroom remains available, updated every 15 minutes.

Reporting & regulation
Contracts and settlement: automated and audit-proof.
An energy hub stands or falls on accurate accounting between parties. With Evogrid, verifiable reporting flows naturally from the exact data that controls the hub.
GTO compliant allocation
The shared transport capacity is monitored and divided strictly according to the group's legal agreements—measurable and traceable per participant.

Seamless peer-to-peer settlement
Power traded between participants is accurately metered and financially settled. No complex spreadsheets, no disputes at the park meeting.

Audit & subsidy ready
Meter data is compiled per measure and per company, ready for the Dutch Energy Investment Allowance (EIA), provincial grant schemes, and grid operator audits.
Subsidy & audit dossier
Compliance isn't a stressful side project—it's a natural by-product of the meter data the hub runs on.
Why Evogrid
An energy hub requires technology and trust. We deliver both.
The technology behind an energy hub is only half the story. The other half is a collective that actually works: capacity divided fairly, liability managed, and automated control that requires zero manual intervention.
Holistic control across all participants
We don't optimize single batteries in isolation. Every flexible asset of every company is integrated into one master control schedule. The hub is optimized as a complete system, not asset by asset.
Integrated metering and financial settlement
Allocation between parties is built directly into the platform: metered, attributed, and settled. No third-party billing tools, and no manual administrative work at the end of the month.
Predictive steering, not reactive braking
AI forecasts with 97–99% accuracy steer the hub proactively. Reactive throttling is treated as a last-resort safety net, never the primary control strategy.
From feasibility study to daily operations
We model the hub during the initial exploration phase. Once delivered, the exact same platform takes over daily operations, ensuring zero handover gaps.
The solutions behind it
Built on the same building blocks as the rest of the platform.
How it works
Prove the concept, then build the solution.
No leaps of faith required. We follow a proven five-step process on every Evogrid site, ensuring the allocation key and the business case are locked in before the first asset joins.
- 01
Business case & simulation
We build a digital twin of the business park using actual participant profiles. We determine exactly how much capacity can be freed up and calculate the financial returns for each party.
- 02
Implementation & data collection
We connect each participant's assets via Modbus, OCPP, and APIs—without a single company having to halt its daily operations.
- 03
Forecasting
Our AI engine predicts generation, consumption, and pricing with 97–99% accuracy—calculated per participant and for the hub as a whole.
- 04
Optimization
A new control schedule is generated across all assets every 5 minutes. The system automatically optimizes operations within the shared transport capacity and strictly adheres to the group's agreements.
- 05
Control, management & overview
Every company continues to operate within its own parameters; the hub as a whole stays safely within the Group Transport Agreement. Consumption and cost allocation are fully traceable in a single dashboard.
